Jesus Prays for All Believers20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one--
23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.
Have you ever looked up a word in the dictionary via google or paperback version and although you read the words you really need to have a greater explanation of the word's usage to understand the full definition. Perhaps that's why they provide examples of how to use the word in a sentence. The dictionary will inform you if the word is an action work also called a verb, or a descriptive word, better known as an adjective. There are times when words can be used both ways. The English language then provides us a way to communicate with one another. Love one another.
John 13:34-35New International Version (NIV) 34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
The Bible also provides us with a language that we can use to communicate with one another. In a Chapel at the YMCA, there is a Bible called NIV Life Application Bible. I share this with you because it took me until my 40's to eliminate the blocks that were in place in my heart from being abused in the church by a "Pastor". I had no interest in ever opening a Bible because the Bible was used as a tool to verbally, maliciously and intentionally abuse people by a false prophet. Although, at times, caring gestures occurred what God told me is that this person is a "peddler and a meddler." This message helped me to see other places where the Bible is used correctly.
The reason I provided a link for the Bible I am referencing above is because it is like no other Bible I have read before. It includes life application studies for each chapter. So if you compare a dictionary to a Bible and a dictionary has sentences where the words you look up are used, then compare these life application paragraphs to this. The 2 Book of John is the book I am now reading. These inspirations from my recent readings inspired my inspir-ed! Homerun collection.
There was a small town called Cedartown in the state of Georgia. On this small Main Street I visited three (3) attorney firms. Each law firm had a copy of the Bible on a table in their lobby representing the law. What I am discovering is that the Bible is a tool and using the life application study Bible has helped me through a very difficult time where others admittedly tried to take me off of my path of success. I hope this blog post is an encouragement to those individuals who may be recovering from injustice, pain or disappointment because in my prayers, I am praying for reunification with my son and I am also praying for peace. Our freedom isn't something we should take for granted. If you have never fought for your freedom, your Civil rights, your right to vote, your right to visit your own child(ren) then you are fortunate, but as a community there are opposing forces (individuals) who are blatantly using their positions of power and authority to hurt others. Accountability, structure, development and adherence to policy and procedure is needed. Proper training and changes in management in some cases is needed to restore community.
Today, I am thankful for the YMCA for providing a space for community building and spiritual and physical healing. I am grateful that I have personally witnessed the changes taking place in Georgia and in Cobb County Georgia where they are actively training police officers and working with the National Alliance for Mentally Ill. In my case, I was told my complaints that "someone is on my computer at the same time as me" was imaginary and in my head. I was told (via police report) that I had mental health issues and not computer stalking and hacking issues. I experienced business identity theft, fraud and computer invasion as a result. This crisis is an epidemic in Pinellas County and it is in excusable. Organized criminals using the justice system and excuses like someone is suicidal or homicidal to devalue them and attack their character.
If and when there are individuals who do care about the community, they can intervene and work towards community recovery. Recovering community means caring about one another. Loving one another and helping one another. This poverty stricken county of Pinellas is unlike other counties in Florida. If you haven't walked the streets in St. Petersburg or Clearwater, you haven't seen what I have seen. I have personally experienced a crime of identity fraud and theft so severe that the very justice system whom I went to for help threatened me multiple times that I would never see my son again.
For those who steal other's identity, via Apple icloud accounts, Bank of America, Chase and other accounts, what it does for them is provide short term financial gain. In fact, the very 1 800 ABUSE line provides exploitation and financial gain. If you are one of the many citizens in this state who has been called into the system either via DCF, a police officer or combination, then you will be trying with everything you have in you to get to your freedom. Your freedom to parent. Your Civil Rights. You will fight to have a home, a car, a pet a job. You will need to if you live in Pinellas County because at least in this county, there is a war going on. It's not just in my family, it's in our community.
When families are pulled apart like this they must cope in the best way they know how. Excessive pain and stress requires intervention. There are so many coping tools and all are effective; however some perpetuate the cycle of abuse.
For example, if I am court ordering you to a "case management" system which is traditionally a voluntary program and I am allowing a case management team and supervisor to dictate what you must do to get your child back, then one would expect that this team would have a policy and procedure book to follow and even bigger than that they the staff are trained in addiction, the justice system, co-occurring disorders of substance abuse and mental health, child support and community resources.
If community members, are discarded, removed from their homes and their cars and their child(rens) schools and after school environments then they are being discriminated against by a court order. These types of difficult and uncertain times are why the law, and the Bible can be used together to promote order during chaos. The Bible warns of times and situations like these and teaches us how to protect ourselves.
As a survivor of Florida's ABUSE system, I have been forced to change lifestyles from the one I loved to a court ordered lifestyle. Addictions, like gambling and over eating and alcoholism and drug addition are just a few ways that citizens cope with their pain. Promoting exercise and nutrition and wellness programs can help, but when families are struggling to stay in their home because their case plans are prepared by uncaring case managers who create a plan using the very defamation of character that put you in the system then you see a breakdown in the system that can lead to a breakdown in the family. Often times a permanent one.
As I look around Pinellas County, through my eyes, I see the grief stricken, impoverished homeless population and the children who are separated from their parents including mine. I spend every day court ordered to a lifestyle that is not mine, but one that a case manager ordered me to. This is the same county that will order you to mental health counseling and then bill for it, meaning they are cycling the state of Florida dollars from state government to state agency and back with no input from the community.
Fortunately, I have seen what can happen by living in other states. I have seen that state dollars can be used in other ways. But when you have a courtroom called a criminal courtroom that is using a false dependency petition to create criminals out of innocent parents, then you will get the results you are aiming for UNLESS there are enough citizens who care.
Pinellas County Florida needs a God intervention. Much like when they changed the name from Devil Rays to Rays. Remember? I do. Remember when three (3) potential natural disasters came here in the form of a hurricane and we were spared? I do.
The county is at war with each other and the parents who are being abuse in the dependency courtroom have children who are depending on them.
Serenity. Courage. Wisdom. There are more programs in place to "get people out of what their false petition written by DCF and the police station has said about them than there is a need for. If you have been fortunate enough not to have had someone call in a false report on you, then you may not understand what I do and this may not be important to you....but if you are fighting for your rights to your child or have had to before, then you know they are worth fighting for.
Invest in your community so that when you need support, they are available for you.
A Time for Everything3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
9 What do workers gain from their toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.
15 Whatever is has already been,
and what will be has been before;
and God will call the past to account.[b]
16 And I saw something else under the sun:
In the place of judgment—wickedness was there,
in the place of justice—wickedness was there.
17 I said to myself,
“God will bring into judgment
both the righteous and the wicked,
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time to judge every deed.”
18 I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. 19 Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath[c]; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.21 Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?”
22 So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?
Making the most of our life on earth includes surrounding ourselves with positive energy, positive relationships, places and when we are striving to maintain at our best, that's often when our "enemies" will try to destroy us. John 10:10
