Flex-ability (flexibility) Strength Power in that order of our country
On Easter Sunday, as I sit in my new favorite special place in a small town on the East Coast of Florida, I am sipping on a Mimosa made with fresh orange juice. Passing on the big lobster Benedict and lobster omelet and the yummy blueberry fritters just because I have been craving the Florida fresh squeezed orange juice for so long. Adding Mimosa and the perfect ambiance is a nice blend. I love this place. An Easter treat.
At war, and without my son, I decided this morning during my leg workout that I am going to continue to move through this countrie's challenges with National Academy of Sports Medicine where I am studying to re-certify as a personal trainer and certify in 2017 as a group fitness instructor. I have to admit I have been successfully defeated in so many career choices that I am solidly grateful that "nanny nanny boo boo you can't remove my life purpose" for my life purpose unfolds and I continue to love myself through all the bullying, and dagger throwing that I have experienced trying to fulfill it.
I have had so many blogs try to fill the hole of "I am sitting across from God" Blogs that include coach blog, praise blog, commencement blog and more... that's what I am sitting across from God was. Seeing God in others manifest in many ways. In conversation, in career choices, in parenting, in random acts of kindness and sometimes even accidental, because sometimes, I truly think people don't even realize the good that they do naturally and how their positive approach to life impacts others.
Flexibility = flex - ability. How able are you to be flexible when life moves up and down like waves in the ocean? Is your core strong? Your back stable? When something doesn't go your way do you lash out at others? Do you publicly make others uncomfortable? Do you constantly mutter your disapproval of others under your breath so that you impact everyone who is listening? If so, then you may want to join me in working out. See exercise will move you through those little things and big things that prevent you from happiness.
If you are experienced, then wonderful, so am I. However if you are just beginning, or re-starting then welcome. I have had to use corrective exercise techniques to recover from a fall on the ice which created a wide variety of symptoms for me. It has been like starting completely over. Fortunately, with muscle memory, my body quickly recovered and has adapted to a new environment, new gym and new community, again. And as far as Planet Fitness goes, there is no judgement which so far is working out perfectly.
While we are at war, we will stay strong together in peace. Isn't that what they say, make love not war? Let's be the one who makes love and contribute to global peace.
